Booking and Cancellation Policy
Thank you for your interest in staying at The Park Jamestown. Please refer to the following conditions which apply to all accommodation and/or site bookings.
Bookings and Payment:
All cabin/villa reservations require a deposit to be paid at the time of booking. Minimum deposit is equivalent to one night’s stay. Balance is due and payable on arrival.
All cabin/villa bookings made within 7 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
All group bookings (4 cabins/villas for more) in cabins/villas require full payment at least 4 weeks prior to check-in.
Site bookings can be paid upon arrival except for peak periods and groups/clubs, where a deposit is required at time of booking (see below for further details regarding Caravan Groups and Clubs).
Peak Periods:
Minimum night stays apply for cabins/villas and sites during March, April, June and October long weekends, Christmas and scheduled community events. A surcharge may apply for single night bookings during these times. Please enquire with management if you require a single night. All bookings including cabins, villas & sites booked during peak periods require a deposit at the time of booking and full payment 4 weeks prior to arrival.
*G’Day membership discounts may not be available during Peak Periods.
Cancellations:
In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your stay with us, the following cancellation and refund policy will apply:
Cancellations during off-peak periods providing more than 3 days’ notice in relation to your scheduled arrival date are fully refundable. Inside 3 days of scheduled arrival date will result in forfeiture of all monies paid.
- Cancellations during peak periods require more than 4 weeks’ notice. Inside this time, no refund will be given, however a credit maybe negotiated with management, but is not guaranteed.
- PLEASE NOTE: Where a deposit or prepayment is to be refunded, a standard administration fee of $20.00 is to be charged. Alternatively, the total refund amount may be transferred to a future booking (to be used within 12 months) and no administration fee will apply.
- Refunds may take the form of a credit which can be transferred to a future booking to be used within 12 months. No refunds to be transferred to other guest bookings.
Caravan Groups:
Caravan groups consisting of 6 sites (caravans/motorhomes), or more are required to pay a deposit of 1 night’s stay at time of the booking. Full payment is to be made 4 weeks prior to arrival. Cancellations of sites within 4 weeks prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee at managements discretion.
Caravan clubs:
Deposits are required 4 weeks prior to arrival. Full payment to be made 1 weeks prior to arrival. Cancellations inside 4 weeks of arrival will incur cancellation fees at managements discretion. *Please refer to Peak Periods if booking on a long weekend/public holidays.
Clubs that would like exclusive use of The Hub, are required to book in advance; Terms and Conditions apply. For more information, please contact the office on 08 8664 0077. Please note: if The Hub is to be found left in an untidy manner that has breached our Terms and Conditions, additional fees will be charged to the club.
Check in & check out times:
Check in time for cabin/villa accommodation is from 2pm. Check in time for powered and unpowered sites is from 12pm.
Check out time for cabins/villas is 10am and 11am for caravan/tent sites.
For early check ins or late check outs guests are required to contact the office prior to arrival. Please note that earlier arrivals or later departures may incur additional costs to the guests booking.
As our staff are involved with both front desk, housekeeping responsibilities and the overall maintenance of The Park, earlier check in or later check out times may not be granted.
Same day online bookings after hours:
Same day online bookings that are made after office hours are not guaranteed. All online bookings for same day check in need to be made prior to 5pm, as the office is not managed out of hours. If you have booked online after hours, and you have arrived to check in, please call the number on the office door.
If your call is not answered, please leave a voice message, and call again. Your call may not be answered the first time, as we prioritise spending time with our families and in the community after work, however, if you leave a voice message we will return your call.
Please note: Management reserves the right to change prices without notice, however, all efforts will be made to honour price quoted when making a booking. Bookings with outstanding payments, are subject to price changes. Any change to original bookings may involve additional charges being made.
