Can I make an online booking for the same day?
Same day online bookings that are made after office hours are not guaranteed. All online bookings for same day check in need to be made prior to 5pm, as the office is not managed out of hours.
If you have booked online after hours, and you have arrived to check in, please call the number on the office door. If your call is not answered, please leave a voice message, and call again. Your call may not be answered the first time, as we prioritise spending time with our families and in the community after work, however if you leave a voice message we will return your call.
Can we get an early check in?
On the occasion that management grants an early check in, please note early check in fees apply to the guests booking. Earlier check in times will depend on what time the previous guests have departed, and the time it takes housekeeping to clean the room. **Early check ins are NOT permitted during Peak Periods. **
Can I get a late checkout?
Please call the office to inquire about a late checkout. The checkout time is decided upon by management and late check out fees may apply. Late check outs are not guaranteed as some days are busier with our cleaning/maintenance schedule. **Late check outs are NOT permitted during Peak Periods. **
Where are you located exactly?
The Park is located on 103 Ayr Street, Jamestown. All guests are required to check in at the office first, and then directions will be given for sites, cabins, and villas.
Do you have accessible cabins & amenities?
Yes, we do. Our studio cabin 1 is accessible and equipped with a ramp into the deck, railing in the bathroom and a shower chair. The laundry in our amenities block has a ramp, and the accessible bathroom is located at the back of the laundry. This bathroom is also equipped with railing and a shower chair.
What are your opening hours?
Our opening hours are 9am to 5pm, 7 days a week. If you are calling to book accommodation/sites before or after the opening hours, please leave a voice message and we will return your call when the office opens.
Can I get in without a booking?
Yes, we accept walk ins for both our sites and cabin/villa accommodation, however, there are periods when we are booked out. To avoid disappointment, we recommend calling in advance to book your accommodation.
Are your cabins pet friendly?
No, our cabins are not pet friendly. This regulation has been put in place to ensure that all guests have a comfortable stay. The only exception we make is for service dogs, who are relied upon by their owners.
How do I get my keys for my cabin/villa if I arrive after hours?
Our office shuts at 5pm. All guests that have not checked in before 4.30pm, will receive an automated text message regarding after hour arrival.
Do you allow individual fire pits?
The Park has a communal fire pit to use during the non-fire ban season, dependant on CFS. (Fire-ban season is generally between November to April). Individual fires are not permitted due to our insurance regulations.
Where is the dump point located?
The dump point is council owned and is located just outside of The Park, on Ayr Street. It is located just outside the fence behind cabin one.
Can I wash my car/pets/animal bedding at The Park?
We do not permit guests to wash/clean their car/pets/animal bedding at The Park. There is a car wash facility located at Kelly Toyota on 27 Mannanarie Road. There is also pet washing and laundromat facilities, with machines for animal bedding located on 42 Mannanarie Road in Jamestown.
Do you have free Wifi at The Park?
Yes, we offer free Wifi to guests that are booked into The Park. We have boosters installed, which ensures that the Wifi is accessible throughout the entire park.
What facilities does The Hub (camp kitchen) have to offer?
The Hub has full kitchen facilities, including a large fridge/freezer, oven, stove top, microwave, kettle, toaster, and an outdoor BBQ. There are 3 large tables within The Hub that can seat 22 people and a large smart TV for entertainment. The Hub is also equipped with 2 large heat strips on the wall above the large sliding door, which ensures that our guests stay toasty warm in the winter, along with 2 large ceiling fans for aircon in the summer.
Can I book The Hub for a private function? And how much will it cost?
If you would like to The Hub for a private function, please contact our office to enquire. The pricing for the hire is dependent on the occupancy at The Park, time of the hire and the duration of the hire.
